Astral is Azenion’s model and provider abstraction layer, designed to unify access to different AI models and inference services behind a consistent interface. It acts as the bridge between Azenion’s intelligence systems and the underlying models, handling model/provider selection and providing a standardized foundation for AI-powered features.
Astral works alongside Asteria, Azenion’s multi-agent orchestration layer, Zen, Azenion’s proprietary LLM, and Nexion, its knowledge and second-brain layer. Together, these components form Azenion’s AI infrastructure, allowing higher-level systems to use different models without being tightly coupled to a single provider.
